Account Information
When you register as a creator, we collect your email address, chosen display name (handle), and profile metadata necessary to establish and authenticate your account. We also store a custom security question and a cryptographic salt to secure your backup recovery method. We never store the answer to your security question.
Public Blockchain Data
We index your public Celo wallet address to facilitate tip routing. We do not—and mathematically cannot—access your private keys or seed phrases.
Transaction History
We store transaction metadata including amounts, timestamps, and optional viewer messages to power your dashboard analytics and alert systems.
Technical Data
We automatically collect standard network data, including IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and device identifiers to ensure platform security and optimize user experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
To operate the TippedIn platform, process your account registration, and provide real-time OBS alerts for incoming tips.
Security & Integrity
To monitor against fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Service.

3. What We Strictly Never Collect
Cryptographic Secrets
We never collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, or the answer to your security question. All cryptographic signing and key derivation is handled locally on your device.
Fiat Financial Data
TippedIn is entirely crypto-native. We do not process, collect, or store credit card numbers or bank account details.
Biometric Identifiers
While our platform utilizes Passkey technology for seamless login, the biometric authentication (FaceID/TouchID) happens securely on your device. We receive only a cryptographic proof of success.
4. Cookies and Tracking
TippedIn uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session and secure your connection. We may also deploy performance cookies to analyze site traffic via privacy-focused analytics providers. You can instruct your browser to refuse all non-essential cookies, though this may limit your ability to use certain features of the dashboard.

Please note that transactions recorded on the Celo blockchain are permanently immutable and cannot be altered or deleted by us or any third party.
